The Aerospace and Defence Association of Europe (ASD) is European umbrella organization. The NAG is a member of the ASD on behalf of the Dutch aerospace industry, together with Fokker. In order to obtain information about military projects early on and have the ability to influence these projects,  the NAG is an active participant in the Equipment Industrial Management Group (EqIMG), the ASD work group for equipment development. In order to represent the interests of SMEs in Europe, the NAG has a seat on the permanent  Equipment/SME Commission of the ASD.
