De Jong Special Services

De Jong Special Services in The Netherlands is specialized in logistics solutions by road and air for time- and/or product critical shipments. These are the shipments that will not fit in the normal express systems/networks due to other requirements: faster, safer or combination of both.

Currently we offer to several aerospace customers the following services:

• AOG desk; operational 24 hours a day, 7 day a week, all year round
• Storage of (critical) spare parts in our own Bonded TAPA secured FSR A certificated warehouse in Nieuw-Vennep (5 minutes of Schiphol area)
• Possibilities for storage Hazardous goods
• High security cage for military / defense equipment and/or parts
• Dedicated Schiphol passes for specific Schiphol area’s in our possession
• Also ACN-passes for the release of goods at handling companies at Schiphol Airport
• All our own vehicles are equipped with GPS, alarm, Track & Trace
• Possibility to equip On Board Courier with Twigme / Wonde Proud (GPRS/SMS/GSM) connected to monitoring centre
• Pre custom clearance to avoid delays, especially used for the On Board Courier
• Global network for your import and export consignments
• Trained and screened drivers

For domestic and European ad hoc/urgent shipments we use vehicles (from station wagon up to tractor + trailer, inclusive dedicated engine transports) from our De Jong Koeriers department. Vehicles are secured according to TAPA-TSR regulations and also used for the transport of high tech/high value/theft sensitive shipments. Thereby temperature controlled transport (if required in combination with hazardous goods) can be offered based on same type of vehicles.

Our Special Services department offers OBC On Board Courier-, NFO Next Flight Out- and charter service for urgent shipments worldwide.
