Norma MPM (approx. 240fte) designs and manufactures (high) precision parts in various metals and alloys as well as composite products. These parts are either supplied directly to our clients or they form the basis for complete mechanical or mechatronic (sub)assemblies produced and tested in-house at Norma MPM. Complex wiring systems required for the (sub)assemblies are designed, manufactured and integrated at our company as well.
We mainly process high grade aluminium, further we process various stainless steel qualities, titanium, inconel and various other alloys. Regarding composites we mainly process pre-preg type carbon fibre, glass fibre and aramide fibre for both housings as well as supporting structures.
We have secured a strong position as a ‘low volume-high mix’ system supplier. There is a constant investment in people and state of the art equipment. Norma MPM can rightfully state that it belongs to the top in our industry. We are truly “Inspired by Challenge”!
Our extensive Engineering Department (17fte) comprises both mechanical and electrical design engineers as well as product specialists. Especially the knowledge of integrating metal and composite parts and special production techniques such as dip-brazing, vacuum brazing, riveting and adhesive bonding often translate into reduced parts cost, reduced parts weight or improved quality.
We have a track record of more than 50 years in applications for mainly the defense and aviation industry. Being successful we understand what it takes to deliver quality and reliability that our clients demand. The focus is not only on the technical side of things but equally important are the required documentation and proper communication throughout the whole process of working together with our clients.
